CFS have provided acoustic assessments and solutions to our clients’ small and medium projects such as meeting rooms, public spaces and sports venues which has resulted in the improved acoustic performance.

CFS has the resources and capabilities to assess the reverberation (echo) in these small and medium projects. CFS analyse the data and provide reports with solution assessments in accordance with the BCA requirements and the recommended Australian Standards.

CFS can also provide acoustic design utilising suitable products to suit the client’s material preferences that is suitable to absorb unwanted and distracting noise.

OUR PROCESS

  • Existing Venue: Measure reverberation, taking into consideration the impact of floors, walls and ceilings.
  • Construction: Review plans and calculate potential untreated room reverberation.
  • CFS process is an iterative approach where the methodology is adapted over the course of the assessment and analysis of data.
  • Provide Acoustical Report and analysis of data in accordance with the BCA and recommended Australian Standards requirements.
  • CFS have the capabilities to model the venue, run test scenarios and propose variety of acoustic design solutions.
  • CFS obtains client feedback throughout the process
  • CFS work to clients’ budget considerations
  • CFS are equipped to supply, deliver and install the acoustic product or alternatively supply the product.

Prairiewood Leisure Centre Fairfield City Council

CFS provided an Acoustic designed solution to cancel noise reverberation in the fitness centre.

Before treatment reverberation in the room was 2.5. After treatment the reverberation was reduced to 1.1 (recommended level in this space).
